Child struck by car in Portlethen

A child has been taken to hospital in Aberdeen after being hit by a car in Portlethen.

The collision happened on Hillside Road shortly after 4pm.

The child was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance, no details are available on their condition at this early stage.

The parents of the child have been informed

Local diversions are being put in place.
