Fuzz Off a huge success

Fuzz off for Finlay at Stonehaven Town Hall last Friday was a huge success.

Almost £2000 was raised on the night which had musical entertainment, food and a group of brave men agreeing to get their fuzz off for Finlay. Organiser, Douglas McKelvie would like to thank everyone who bared their faces (and in one case head) especially to Mike whose chin hadn’t seen the light of day for 40 years. He would also like to give a special mention to Newtonhill Pharmcay, Jenni Macs, MFK Pies, Boots the Chemist, Castle Trophies, Royal Hotel and The Market Bar

Thanks to all the helpers from Finlays Fund, the Town Hall Trust and Mearns FM who ran the bar and kept the games going during the evening. Alan and Paul for the sound and lighting by Ron and Photography by Tom. And a thanks to Vocal Zone, Cindy Douglas, Centreline, Mike Weber Band and the Screamin’ Demons for providing the musical entertainment

Also during the evening a £500 cheque presentation was made to the SSPCA on behalf of the Aberdeen airport bonus ball syndicate
