Kinneff Primary receives Green Flag

The Green Flag arrived at Kinneff Primary this month after the official assessment in mid- December.

The whole school community are delighted to fly the Green Flag at Kinneff as a clear message of values and beliefs.

A school spokesperson said: ‘‘The pupils, parents and staff have worked incredibly hard on numerous projects to achieve this.

‘‘The possibilities and incredible potential for learning within this initiative for schools appear endless. Kinneff’s outdoor environment, in particular, is a fantastic learning resource.’

‘‘The Green Flag is just the latest addition to a number of other Eco awards that the school has won over the past year, including the Lathallan Eco trophy, the Mill O Forest Eco trophy and a shield for the best Green Goblin car design.

‘‘A special thanks must go to Mrs Tulloch (class teacher) and our Eco parents Mrs Fisher and Mrs Finlayson for all their achievements.’’
