Birds of a feather make first Scots landing at His Majesty’s

The national tour of Birds of a Feather with Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are to make their Scottish debut in Aberdeen, at His Majesty’s Theatre for a week-long run starting on Tuesday, April 2.

The new 14-week tour of the stage version of one of BBC TV’s most popular and fondly remembered sitcoms kicks off in Coventry in March.

One of BBC TV’s most popular and fondly remembered sitcoms, the show ran for almost 10 years until 1998, chronicling the misadventures of Sharon Theodopolopoudos (Pauline), Tracy Stubbs (Linda) and their man-eating neighbour, Dorien Green (Lesley).

Pauline will most recently be remembered as Hazel Rhodes in ITV1’s Emmerdale, she is also well known for her portrayal of Olive Martin in the award winning drama The Sculptress, Down to Earth, Cold Blood and Missing.

Linda rose to prominence in Shine On Harvey Moon and also appeared in Harry’s Game and Play For Today amongst others before starring as Tracey in Birds Of A Feather for nine years.

Lesley has recently been touring in the hugely-successful Calendar Girls and her vast array of other theatre work includes Sir Peter Hall’s production of Home, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Piaf, The Miser, Annie, Hot Flush, Office Suite and a successful one-woman show, Singular Women.
