Mearns gala season kicks off

THE first annual Mearns gala of the 2013 calendar kicks off this weekend in Auchenblae with events beginning on Sunday (May 19).

Jo Caulfield is finally stepping into the spotlight after honing her craft writing jokes for others.

Already a familiar face to many due to her appearances on Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Jo Caulfield also works hard behind the scenes writing jokes for some of British comedy’s top stars such as Graham Norton and Ruby Wax. Now Jo is back on tour and returning to Banchory’s Woodend Barn for a night of hilarious stand-up on Friday 24th May at 8pm.
