Ury Players get ready for their Pantomime

editorial image

THE Ury Players are hard at work getting ready to tread the boards once again in this year’s pantomime “King Arthur.”

Following on from last year’s successful run of “Jack and the Eco Beanstalk” and this year’s productions of “Spots” and “Allo Allo” the Ury Players are busy rehearsing for their panto which will this year feature some memorable characters from history as King Arthur, his Knights, Merlin, Guinevere, Lancelot, the baddie Morgana and many more characters take to the stage in true panto style.

With a host of fiery dragons, some evil dancing goblins, ghouls and other nasty creatures, the evil Morgana will try to take the throne off of King Arthur, who has got on a bit in years and who prefers a good laugh to a good battle.

But will Morgana succeed and take over the throne? You will just have to wait and see.

The show is set to run in Stonehaven Town Hall from Wednesday December 5 to Saturday December 8 at 7:30pm (with a 2:20pm matinee on Saturday 8th).

Tickets are £10 adults £7 concessions and are available from the Rose Bowl, Barclay Street, Stonehaven. Tickets will also be on sale on the door on the night if still available.
