Jacquie Donoghue raised £500 for GCRA (Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association) when she ran the 'Highland Fling'- half the West Highland Way, as part of a relay team (with her husband, brother in law and father in law) in April.

Each of them ran the equivalent of a half marathon on the famous trail.

Jacquie runs the Laurencekirk GCRA exercise class on Wednesday mornings in the St Laurence Hall, Laurencekirk.

The class aims to help improve the fitness of those who have heart problems and those who are at risk e.g. have diabetes, high blood pressure or are overweight.

If you are interested in the class call the GCRA office on 01888 569160, go to www.gcra.org.uk or contact your GP.

Jacquie is pictured presenting a cheque to Douglas Pacitti, Director of PR and Marketing as members of the class look on.
