MARYKIRK Raft Race Committee ran a successful race night on Friday in the Marykirk Hotel.
A total of £573 was raised by the racegoers.
The committee hopes for an increasing level of support for future events as the raft race, scheduled for May, grows closer.
The Raft Race will raise money for CHAS and for local charities.
