LESLEY Young and Amanda Mitchell leave on Monday for Holland to take part in the Nijmegen March in aid of Breast Cancer Research.

During the famous march, they will walk 25 miles a day for four successive days.

The two have been training since December, following a laid down schedule and they have now hit their peak of 66 miles in the past week.

Amanda and Lesley are among 33 walkers from the UK walking for Breast Cancer, but they are the only Scots and will be wearing special pink kilts.

They hope to raise well over £1,000 between them.

Lucy Gall is pictured presenting the two women with £50 from the Oasis women's group.

Oasis have also donated £50 to the Mearns Pipers.
