The Stonehaven Fireball Association has appealed to anyone who has a copy of this year’s (2015) brochure, in the hope that someone is willing to return their copy to the organisers.

The somewhat strange request comes after the Assocation realised that every single copy of the 2015 brochure was given out on the night, and none were kept back for their own archive.

Since 2002 at least one copy has been kept back, and one copy has been sent to the National Library of Scotland.

Martin Sim, from the Fireball Association, told the Leader: “Every copy was given out - which raised thousands of pounds and we would like to say a big thank you for that.

“But then we realised that we hadn’t kept any for our archive. We usually also send a copy to the National Library of Scotland, so we wondered if there was anyone with spare copies who would be willing to send them to us.”

If you can help the Fireballs Association, you can contact Martin via email at martinsim47@gmail.com, or pop a copy (or copies) into Jon Hairdresser, 63 Barclay Street, Stonehaven, AB39 2EE.
