Awards for South Church

On Saturday, February 28, at the monthly Fairtrade Sale of Goods at South Church, two recent achievements were celebrated.   Clare Clouston, assisted by Christine Hunter, was commended for her work in achieving Fairtrade recognition for the South Church.'In addition, Irenee Lawson and Pat Logue were presented with an Eco Award wooden plaque by Reverend Rosslyn Duncan for their achievement in gaining, after assessment from the Church of Scotland, recognition for their efforts in recycling and reducing the South Church's carbon footprint.
