Toes will be tapping at a special ceilidh in Stonehaven this Saturday night thanks to the North-east branch of an education charity.
The charity - the Clarsach Society - helps children and adults get ‘hands-on’ learning to play the harp and hear its music.
And the North-east Scotland branch is now going feet first into fundraising at Stoney Town Hall from 7.30pm until midnight.
Strings of the gaelic harp – also known as the clarsach – will resonate in a mini-concert as part of the ceilidh night to help the North East Branch of the Clarsach Society introduce more people to Scotland’s traditional instrument.
A small group will play a mini-concert at the ceilidh night, headlined by Yous Dancin? Ceilidh Band. To find out more and for ceilidh tickets on the door contact Pam McFadden on 01569 766200 and at firstname.lastname@example.org and http://www.clarsachsociety.co.uk
