The road closure affecting part of the B979 Netherley Road will be extended for two days to allow resurfacing work to be completed.
The road has been closed, from the junction near New Mains of Ury to Forester’s Croft, from 8.30am until 4.30pm each day since October 1.
The road was due to fully reopen after Sunday, October 14. Due to delays in the work being completed, the road closure will be extended to include Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16.
The diversions, via the A90 dual carriageway and the B9077 South Deeside Road, will continue to be in place.
Please note emergency access will be maintained and vehicular access to any affected properties will also be maintained wherever possible.
Aberdeenshire Council apologises for any inconvenience that will be caused by the works and advises motorists to check the council’s website at www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/roads/traffic/closures.asp for updates.
