Portlethen Childminding group are to hold a fayre next month to celebrate 25 years since they were established.
The group aim to provide a safe and stimulating ‘home from home’ for youngsters in the town, and some of the original members are still there today.
The group also do a lot of fundraising over the year so that they can take part in extra activities with the children, such as summer outings (which includes the hire of buses) and Christmas parties. Children in Need, Macmillan Cancer Support and the ARCHIE Foundation have all been supported by the group.
The fayre, celebrating all of the things the group have become known for, will be held on November 2 in the Bourtree Hall, from 11am-1pm. There will be a whole host of activities and facepainting, plus much more.
