THE director of Scotland’s Gardens will be giving a talk to the Stonehaven and District Horticultural Society at their meeting in March.
Pady Scott will talk about how Scotland’s Gardens operates and will include digital images of many of the gardens participating in the programme. Scotland’s Gardens will see over 600 Gardens opening across the Country in 2012. The project, formerly known as Scotland’s Gardens Scheme, raises money for other worthy causes by facilitating the opening of large and small gardens of horticultural interest throughout Scotland. Some of the local gardens include the Mill of Benholm project and Drumlithie Village.
All are invited to the meeting on March 8 in the Invercarron resource centre at 7:30pm. The annual Spring flower show will be held in the Town Hall on March 17. Entries are invited for the Craft and culinary section and the flower section.
