Land Train gets a new name

Michelle Ward presenting David Tucker (P7) from Carronhill School with his certificate for winning the competition to name the Stonehaven Land Train. His winning suggestion was 'The Stoney Express' and the train will be getting the name on the locomotive very soon. David's was one of over a hundred suggestions from the local schools and was the name voted for unanimously by the Stonehaven Town Partnership Trustees. David's teacher Mrs Amanda Geldart was delighted to receive tickets for the train for all of his class mates to use.
