Last call for entries for awards

The deadline for entries to the 6th annual Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year competition is approaching.

Entries close on Monday , November 30 at midnight.

The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers and includes a range of categories for wildlife, landscape, botanical, abstract and environmental photography, all taken in Scotland.

The winners will be selected by judges Colin Prior, Richard Shucksmith and Niall Irvine along with the Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2015 (for under-18s) and Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2015 (for students undertaking a photography element in their course).

Prizes include luxury holiday breaks, campervan hire, tours and visitor experiences, vouchers, prints and subscriptions.

An exhibition of winning images will go on tour in 2016 and winning and shortlisted images will be published in a Portfolio Yearbook.
