BBs hold fund raising night for Bungalow summer holiday fund

Stonehaven Boys Brigade held a fund-raising chocolate night and raffle on Monday evening to raise money for The Bungalow in Stonehaven.

The Bungalow is a purpose built home housing four young adults with learning disabilities in the town centre and provides each adult with their own bedroom, a sitting/dining room, sensory room, adapted bathroom, shower room, kitchen and laundry area.

Residents in The Bungalow require 24 hour care and the Boys Brigade and Anchors held the fund-raising event to raise money to pay for The Bungalow residents to go on a summer holiday by holding a raffle and chocolate fondue.

The Bungalow residents will be going on their summer holiday to Badaguish in the Highlands.

Badaguish is a place for short break activity holidays for children and adults with learning and multiple disabilities offering 24 hour respite care and is situated just outside Aviemore at a sheltered and exciting location in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.

The holidays let those visiting enjoy the outdoors and take part in many activities that would not usually be easily available to them.
