Body found on Johnshaven beach

Police are investigating after a body was discovered on Johnshaven beach at around 9.30am this morning.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained and police say they are in the very early stages of enquiries.

Formal identification is yet to take place and officers are still at the scene.
