Bring and buy for flood fund

editorial image

DUNNOTTAR School’s enterprise committee organised a bring and buy sale to raise money for victims of December’s flooding.

The group worked hard advertising, arranging and setting up the sale, which took place last week. Classes in the school were invited to visit the sale and make purchases, with a selection of toys, books, games and dvds on offer.

The sale raised £147.72 for the flood relief fund which was set up following two floods which affected Stonehaven in December last year. Victims of flooding who are looking for support from the fund should fill out an application.

For applications to be considered, The Stonehaven Flood Relief Fund form should be completed, signed and returned. Forms are available from the Housing Office in Allardice Street and the Stonehaven Library, Evan Street. People can also access it via www.scottishfloodforum.org If needed, assistance is available when filling out the form.
