Drumathon for Cancer Care

Angus Cancer Care has benefitted to the tune of £1,500 which was part of the proceeds from a 24 hour Drumathon held at the Lands End Trading Post at Hallowe'en.

The Drumathon was held by Greywolf Drums and members were present at the Macmillan Centre at Stracathro on Tuesday when a cheque was presented to charge nurse Anne Pender.

Drum maker Clifford "Greywolf" Latta was also present, all the way from Oregon, USA.

Further donations of 1,500 from the Drumathon will go to Alzheimer's Scotland in Stonehaven and the Navajo Code Talkers Association of New Mexico, USA.
