NuSpice support school and cancer charity

Stonehaven Indian takeaway NuSpice have introduced a loyalty card which will see all profits going to Arduthie Primary School, as well as a further donation, right from the owner’s pockets, to Breast Cancer Care.

Owner Abdul Hamid often helps out different charities and has a healthy connection with the local schools. This latest venture will see a NuSpice loyalty card being introduced which costs £5.

The card entitles the buyer to two free curries and a further 10% off anything else ordered, with unlimited usage for a year. The entire £5 sale from each card will go directly to Arduthie Primary School funds and Mr Hamid will also donate, for every card purchased, a further £2 out of his own pocket to Breast Cancer Care.

Mr Hamid said: “We donate to help different causes throughout the year and we have set up this connection with Arduthie Primary School to help them fund different educational ventures for the children and also to Breast Cancer Care to help raise funds to ensure that people affected by breast cancer get the best treatment and support.”

Breast Cancer Care provides a range of services to support those affected by breast cancer, their friends and family. A selection of their services include a telephone support helpline, an Ask the Nurse email service and Face-to-face multiple day services designed to “inform, support and connect people affected by breast cancer.”

Every year the charity gives direct support to over 22,000 people with breast cancer or breast health concerns through their helpline, peer support and other direct services as well as responding to two million requests for support and information through publications and website.

Loyalty cards can be purchased from NuSpice Indian “Kurry-Out” at 25 Allardice Street, Stonehaven.
