Star Gazing - The Musical
A GROUP of Mearns Academy students have formed GCPRo (which stands for Great Child Productions).
This is an organisation set up by kids, for kids. It is primarily a drama group set up to perform shows and raise money for various charities both in the local area and worldwide.
The main objective of GCPRo this year is to perform a show entitled "Star Gazing – The Musical". This show was written by Will Sergeant, with music written by Ann Hislop, Lyndsey Higgins and Will.
The show "Star Gazing" focuses on the troubles faced by a group of pupils as they move through school and out into the 'real world'.
"Star Gazing – The Musical" will premier in Mearns Academy on Thursday March 18 at 7:30pm, with all proceeds from ticket sales being split between two charities. Ticket prices are: Child - 3 Adult - 5.
