Hot on the heels of their Glastonbury and T in the Park summer triumphs, rising Scots alternative rockers Twin Atlantic are to play Aberdeen’s Music Hall this autumn.
The Glasgow foursome will perform at the city centre venue on Thursday, October 23, and tickets go on general sale this Friday (August 8) online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
The gig will feature numbers from their upcoming album Great Divide, to be released later this month, their third studio album after Vivarium (2009) and Free (2011).
Twin Atlantic last played the Music Hall in October 2012, and their line-up consists of Sam McTrusty on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Ross McNae on bass guitar, piano and backing vocals, Craig Kneale on drums, percussion and backing vocals and Barry McKenna on lead guitar, cello and backing vocals.
A remix of their single, Free was used for the closing of the Discovery Channel’s coverage of the 2012 Red Bull Stratos space jump by Felix Baumgartner. And their song Crash Land was featured in the British film Not Another Happy Ending last year.
