Police Scotland are urging residents who may have witnessed a residential property being vandalised in Inverbervie to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers in Inverbervie are appealing for information after a residential property in the David Street area of the town was vandalised, causing a low, three-figure sum of damage.
“The incident happened on Wednesday, March 19, between 12.15 and 3.30pm.
“The elderly resident of the property was in at the time of the incident and she was left shaken but uninjured.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
