At the last meeting of the club for the year 2014 – except for the Christmas Dinner later on – President Eric Bell welcomed 26 members to the annual general meeting and gave a resumė of the meetings and events during his term of office.

There followed the election of the new committee, who will take office from the first meeting in January 2015.

The following have been elected to serve in the new committee – president - Malcolm McCloig, vice-president - Denis Bell, treasurer - Ian Davidson, secretary - Ian M Bell, immediate past president - Eric M Bell, committee members - Bill Sommerville, Sandy Dunn

Following the AGM, secretary Ian Bell gave a talk and presentation on a visit made to the Black Watch Museum at Balhousie Castle in Perth, earlier in the year along with other fellow members.

The museum is open to the public and an excellent restaurant and gift shop are adjacent to the castle, making it a worthwhile place to visit and enjoy.

Members were reminded of the Christmas Dinner to be held in the Dickson Hall, Laurencekirk, at noon on December 16 as guests of the Ladies Probus Club.
