A MICHAEL Buble tribute act is the next fundraising event to take place in Stonehaven Town Hall.
Jason Porter will appear as the man himself in the cabaret event on June 17, which will also feature a supporting dance duo with six changes of clothing.
Organisers from the Town Hall Trust are hopeful that the concert will prove as successful as the recent sell-out Fashion Show they held and have urged people to come along and ahve a great night out, while supporting a local cause.
The show is based on a Bublé concert, featuring a live band and performing almost two hours of his hits and swing classics. Jason’s musical director is Ian Russell who has been keyboard player and musical director for a total of 17 uk hit recording artists during his 30 year career, and provides a top class band from a trio up to a 10 piece.
Jason’s concert and cabaret shows focus on big hits such as Everything, Haven’t Met You Yet, Cry Me a River, Home and Save the Last Dance, interspersed with the most popular Bublé swing classics.
Tickets for the June 17 show are £10, and are available from Ma Simpson’s (01569 766264) or the Barclay Clinic. Doors open at 7.30pm.
All proceeds go to the Stonehaven Town Hall Trust for future maintenance and refurbishment of the Town Hall.
