Whittaker Engineering has welcomed six new apprentices recently with another two starting next month.
Managing Director, Ken Whittaker said: “Whittaker Engineering are pleased to welcome the new intake of apprentices who will help expand the business and keep the skill base high.
“This year we have exceeded all previous years with eight new apprentices starting and we hope our contribution to Scottish engineering will help the North Sea oil industry and the economy. We currently have a total of 22 apprentices across fabrication, machining and mechanical disciplines.
“We hope they all turn out to be first class skilled workers.”
