Peter gives the Selkirk Grace at the Inverbervie Probus Club

At the meeting on January 27, as is a tradition, members had a Burns breakfast.

The haggis was carried in by Dave Wills, accompanied to the appropriate music and the address recited by John Gove.

The Selkirk Grace was given by Peter MacInnes and the traditional delicacies served.

John MacKenzie gave a summary of a TV programme about Burns and how he was influenced by the work of Robert Fergusson.

Our guest for the breakfast, Jim Brown, gave an oratory of the life of Burns, followed by a toast to his immortal memory.

The breakfast concluded with a rendition of a verse from Corn Rigs, sung by John Gove who then gave the vote of thanks.
