Sponsored Walk for Church Funds

On Sunday July 19 at approx 1.30pm which is flexible, we will be taking part in an 8 mile walk through Arbuthnott Estate, walkers can start anywhere along the Route that suits, passing theough Bervie and Arbuthnott. Sponsor forms are available from Church, Church Centre and from John Harris (360399) or George Anderson (320406)

Church Centre Closure

Due to essential maintenance being carried out, the Church Centre will be closed to all from Monday July 6 due to re open on Monday July 27.

SORRY – There will unfortunately be no coffee Mornings or after church teas during this time.

Herd Centre Closure

The Herd Centre will be closed from July 1 to August 1 for essential Maintenance.

Apologise for any inconvenience caused.

WoTS Magazine

Bervie’s WOTS Magazine Edition for August/September information deadline is on Friday July 17, please email local information to be included to WOTS.editor@yahoo.com

WOTS is distributed free of charge to most Bervie Residences but a donation towards production costs are most welcome.

‘Polar Explorers’ Holiday Club

Polar Explorers Holiday Club is open to all Children who will be attending Primary School (P1-P7) or S1 in August 2015.

Bervie Sports centre, Kirkburn, Inverbervie on Monday August 10 to Friday August 14, 10am-12.30pm each day a snack of fruit and pancakes and juice or water will be provided.

There will be a Pre School Afternoon on Wednesday August 12 2.30pm-4pm and a BBQ and Open night on thursdau August 13 at the Sports Centre for families znd friends to come and see what the children have been up to all week.

The club is being organised and run by a team of local volunteers under the umbrella of Scripture Union.

There is no charge for holiday club however if you can make a small donation there will be opportunities during the week or by just text giving text IBHC00 £_ to 70070 eg (IBHC00 £5)

Knit and Natter TONIGHT

Thursday July 16, The Knit and Natter Ladies will be meeting for their new

Fortnightly craft and chat session.

8pm-10pm, The Salutation, King Street, Inverbervie.

All Welcome.

Bervie Lunch Club

Bervie Lunch Club meet once a fortnight in the Masonic Hall, King Street, Inverbervie, From 12noon- 1.30pm.

They enjoy a 2 course lunch, usually Soup and Pudding costing £4 they next meet on Tuesday July 21, If you are interested and wish to book a space call Isabel on 01561 361007

Story time and Rhyme Time

Saturday July 18, 10.30am-11am, Bervie Library, Church Street, Inverbervie.

This free activity is designed for Pre-School kids.

Bervie Youth Project

With the finer weather coming we are not running sports or youth café as the kids are out playing. Donated refreshments will be distributed at the Pitch at Church Street

Saturdays 7pm-8pm by Youth Project Volunteers, a chance for the members to book in for any trips or activity days that are booked though out the summer months.

We are using this time to recruit more volunteers so if you are keen in helping out on a three weekly rota for a few hours please email carollevans77@btinternet.com

Summer 2015 Holiday Programme (Bervie)

Drop in session has been booked for Tuesday July 2011am-1pm at Inverbervie Sports Centre, Kirkburn.

These are drop in sessions so you can simply turn up and pay for a go. Children remain your responsibility of their adult carers whilst at these activities.

Body Zorbing are suitable for Approx 5 years to 12 years (depending on size) £2

Climbing Wall are suitable for Approx age 3 years to adult £2

Tourus Gymnastics Club Summer Camps

Bervie Social Club

Bervie Social Club has an average weekly attendance of 100 members meet every Saturday for some Bingo Fun, at The Burgh Hall, Farquhar Street. Next meeting is Saturday July 25, Membership forms are available from Head Caller Alan Reid and his dedicated team of helpers.

Eyes down at 7.30pm Raffle and Refreshments are available.
