Temporary traffic lights are to be erected on a busy Aberdeenshire road for essential maintenance work to take place.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays due to the emergency work on the B9077 South Deeside Road, which will commence this afternoon (Monday 18 February).
The work to repair telecommunications equipment is essential and will require temporary traffic lights to be put in place where the road meets the B9779 Maryculter bridge road, which links with the North Deeside Road.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible and expect delays over the coming days. Updates on road closures can be viewed at Aberdeenshire Council
