Tinie Tempah and Bryan Adams to play exhibition centre

Award winning artist Tinie Tempah has announced that he will take his first national Arena tour to Aberdeen this winter.

He will perform at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Sunday November 13, 2011.

Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director said: “We are delighted to announce this Brit Award winning artist will be appearing at AECC later this year. We expect the tickets will be in great demand.”

Tinie Tempah’s number one, debut album ‘Disc-overy’ has sold over half a million copies to date and earned him two Brit Awards - one for Best Single for track ‘Pass Out’ and the other for Best Breakthrough Artist, both of which were voted for by the public.

The album has also spawned two Number One singles ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Written In The Stars’ and two Top Five singles ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘Frisky’. His fifth single ‘Wonderman’, featuring Ellie Goulding, was released last week. Canadian rock singer-songwriter, Bryan Adams, has also announced a new tour which coincides with the 20th anniversary of his ‘Waking up the Neighbours’ album and will include a night at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC) Press and Journal Arena on Saturday November 26 2011. The iconic music of the singer has spanned three decades and continues to reach music lovers of all ages.

Adams’ album ‘Reckless’ is regarded as one of the ultimate albums of the 80’s and sold a phenomenal four million copies in 1987. In 1991 Bryan released his ‘Waking up the neighbours’ album selling 16 million copies world wide. Including the much loved and world class hit ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’ which was number one in the British charts for 16 weeks.
