Further police appeal issued following A90 collision

Police have issued an appeal for anyone who was a passenger on a bus which was involved in a collision with a cyclist on the A90 to get in touch.

The collision happened on Wednesday (March 29) at around 8.30pm near the Cortins junction, Bridge of Muchalls.

Officers thanked motorists and members of the public who had already contacted them following an appeal for information.

Roads policing Sergeant Steve Manson said: “Around 40 people have been in touch to say they saw the cyclist and I would like to thank them. I would also like to further appeal for any passengers on the bus to come forward. Anyone with information can get in touch with police on 101.”

The 43 year old man who was on the bike was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

The 56 year old man who had been driving the bus was uninjured.
