Two men to appear in court after Market Bar assault

Two men are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today after an incident at Stonehaven’s Market Bar on Wednesday night.

A Police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland is investigating an incident that occurred within a licensed premises on Market Square, Stonehaven on Wednesday 19 August 2015 at around 10pm.

“As a result, a 42 year old man was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a head injury.

“Enquiries are at an early stage but we would appeal to any witnesses who may have information to contact us on 101.

“Two men aged 43 and 32 have been charged in relation to the incident and are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.”.
