Theologians 0 Bervie 1

BERVIE Caley are looking for a strong finish to their Division One East season and they picked up three good points with an away win over Theologians on Saturday.

This was the first time Bervie have beaten Theologians in four seasons of trying.

Bervie had the better of the exchanges, but couldn't put the ball into the net.

They scored what proved to be the winner in 70 minutes when Calum Gowans scored with a header on the back post.

Bervie have three games left, all away. They have to play league leaders Bon-Accord City, Potterton and University Strollers.
