In seven minutes, Johnshaven went close when a shot from Ross Blease hit the post. Second later the ball broke to Gourlay and he shot just wide from 35 yards.

Johnshaven took the lead in ten minutes. The Dundas brothers combined to set up Jason Leven and he beat a defender and shot past the advancing keeper.

It was 2-0 in 17 minutes. A shot from Leon Dundas beat the keeper and was cleared off the line by a defender and the Johnshaven attacker headed home the loose ball.

A minute later, a Strollers free-kick was held by Henderson.

In 26 minutes, Leon Dundas headed home a free-kick, but the referee ruled out the goal as he was booking a Strollers player at the time.

Two minutes later, a Bickerstaff free-kick to the near post was slammed home by Stuart McDonald to make it 3-0.

Six minutes from half-time, a good Johnshaven move ended with their trialist having a shot saved.

Strollers got a goal back on the hour mark when a shot from outside the box flew over Henderson.

Gourlay shot straight at the keeper, then Henderson saved at the feet of an attacker.

Johnshaven looked for more goals and Ross Blease was denied by the keeper, then in 79 minutes, a Greig shot was also saved.
