Drumlithie Men top the Laurencekirk and District Darts League on their own after winning a top-of-the-table clash with Scots Corner 5-4 last week.

Home team Scots Corner took all three doubles, but the Drumlithie Men stormed back to win the first four singles to lead 4-3.

Scots Corner won the penultimate game to make it a final game showdown, captain v captain. Drumlithie captain Duncan Forbes prevailed in a brilliant match to make sure his side are top after the first round of matches.

Results: Croon Lassies 0 Royal Cheebs 9; Treble Rebels 4 Queens 5; Redhall 0 Harbour 9; Sally 3 Red Drum 6; Scots Corner 4 Drumlithie Men 5; Western 6 Croon 3.

Drumlithie Men are top with eleven straight wins and they are followed by Scots Croner with 20 points and Royal with 18.

Sally and Harbour are on 14 points, with Western and Red Drum on 12.

Queens are next on eight points, followed by the Treble Rebels on six, Redhall on four, Croon on two and Croon Lassies on nil.
