The tough but achievable event will see participants fighting their way through the dense forest, undergrowth and mud along the banks of the scenic Knockburn Sports Loch near Banchory.
The challenge is to overcome 20 mega obstacles along the way, with ‘barbed-wire crawl-unders’, rope nets, 12ft high walls to climb over, muddy bogs and dimly lit tunnels to drag yourself through, this is no walk in the park.
The Banchory Beast Race returns on Saturday September 26 and promises to be an epic 10km obstacle race to remember.
Organised by Firetrail Events, Prime Four and supporting Scotland’s Health Charity, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, runners, joggers and adventure seekers are being challenged to take part in this monster event.
Solo runners and teams of different sizes are welcome, with a great memento for all runners and brilliant prizes up for grabs.
