With The Anniversary Games in London, the Commonwealth Games a year away in Glasgow, the Scottish athletics National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen just 2 weeks away - athletics is never far from the news at the moment.

18 year old Kathryn Christie runs in the U20 100m at the Welsh International in Cardiff; 14 year old Alisha Rees from Torphins and 15 year old Kelsey Stewart from Stonehaven have been selected for the U16 and U18 teams competing in the Celtic Games in Colwyn Bay, North Wales on August 3.

Kelsey is in fine form and won 2 silver medals at the Schools International in Dublin last weekend, setting a fantastic new Club Record of 38.66s in the 300metres.
