Speedflex Aberdeen are this month taking part in a “Battle of the Flexes” - a marathon of Speedflex sessions every hour for 24 hours to raise money for British Heart Foundation.

All Speedflex centres in the UK will be taking part and battling it out to see which centre can burn the most calories.

In doing so all centres will be raising as much money as they can for British Heart Foundation.

Sppedlfex are offering a free induction, free Health Assessment and free 2 week trial of Speedflex to anyone who hasn’t tried it.

Once you have completed the induction you can sign up for the “Speedflexathon”. To sign up for this charity event it is £10 to register, this goes straight to British Heart Foundation.

A spokesperson for Sppedflex Aberdeen said: “With our centre here in Laurencekirk being the only Speedflex centre in Scotland we are more determined to win this title as the top calorie burner in this battle between the centres.

“This is taking place on Friday 25th September from 7am right through until 6am on the Saturday morning.

“Yes, that’s right all through the night including 3am.

“There will be entertainment and a Live DJ paying through out the night aswell as refreshments and a buffet too.

“We are looking for as many people as we can to attend whether you can do one session of 10! Not only will you be contributing to charity but you will be burning lots of calories and feeling good for it too.”
