Eighteen girls from Stonehaven Gymnastics Club competed at the Scottish Beginners and Intermediates Floor and Vault competition in Perth.
All gymnasts competed very well in the event on Sunday, November 16.
In the eight-year-old beginners, Ella McRobbie came second on floor out of 60 other competitors in her age group.
In the nine year old beginners, Kirstin Reith achieved fourth on floor and vault finishing second overall.
Layla McLaughlin placed first on vault, finishing fourth overall. Emily Winton finished 12th overall and Iona McArdle was 16th out of the 60 gymnasts who competed in this age group.
The team of Kirstin, Layla, Emily and Iona were all awarded gold medals as their team came first, scoring over 73 points.
The nine-year-olds all achieved merits, meaning they can now progress to the intermediate level.
The 10 and 11-year-old beginners who competed were Glenn Masson, who placed 13th overall, Jessica Morrow placed 14th, Isla Stevenson came 22, Rosa Jackson placed 25th4 and Natalie Davies came 43rd out of 106 competitors in the age group. The team of Glenn, Jessica, Isla, Rosa and Natalie came fifth out of 27 teams.
In the 12-plus beginners, Stacey Hay achieved second on vault and fifth overall. Annabel Reith came sixth on floor, placing sixth overall. Sophie Owen came fourth on Vault and 11th overall and Lauren Maitland was 16th overall,
Neve Murray placed 19th overall and Amy Duncan was 23rd out of 49 competitors.
The team with Stacey, Annabel, Sophie, Lauren and Neve placed third out of 10 teams.
In the 12-plus intermediates, Catherine Wotherspoon achieved ninth overall and Bethany Bruce placed fourth on Vault.
Both Catherine and Bethany were awarded with Merits.
