St Laurence went into this match on Saturday knowing it was a must-win game to pull away from the bottom of the table and they did it emphatically with a 7-0 victory.

St Laurence started the game well and put the visitors under pressure right from the off.

They went ahead when Myles was fouled in the box within the first five minutes of the game and Ryan Arthur scored from the resulting penalty.

St Laurence grabbed their second of the day when good work in midfield sent Myles through and he cut the ball back across the face of the goal and Ryan Arthur was there to score from close range.

Saints were totally dominant and were 3-0 up in 20 minutes. Ryan Arthur did some good work down the right and fired the ball across the face of the goal for G. Reid to knock home.

St Laurence continued to pile on the pressure with some great passing and K. Bruce latched onto a great through ball by Blair McCombie to slot past the advancing keeper.

St Laurence went in at half-time 5-0 up. C. Criggie scored just before the break, with a neat finish after a good move.

St Laurence made several changes at half-time and continued to press for the full 90 minutes. G. Reid was fouled in the box and Arthur completed his hat-trick from the spot.

St Laurence rounded off the scoring when Jordan Myles got a deserved goal after missing several chances throughout the game.
