Sixth place for Bervie
BERVIE Caley FC can reflect on a satisfactory season just ended, as they finished sixth in Division One East. Caley were never in real danger of relegation and a few more points would have seen them finish as high as fourth.
At home, Bervie chalked up six wins, including a 5-1 thumping of Newmachar and 6-3 against FC Geldie on the other side of the coin, there were disappointing defeats on their own patch against Glendale Youth and Johnshaven.
Bervie's away record was almost as good as their home. They won five times, with the best being 6-3 at Blackburn and 3-1 at West End, both of whom finished above them in the table.
