Ski duo in the medals

two Stonehaven youngsters, Finlay Jacobs and Emma Swanson, are continuing to excell in the world of freestyle skiing.

Finlay competed at the Scottish Freestyle Skiing Championships in Bearsden, Glasgow last weekend.

He took second place, winning a silver medal for his age category 12 and under.

Finlay is 11 years old and goes to Arduthie Primary School. He is in the Scottish Freestyle Skiing Youth Development Team.

Fellow Arduthie pupil Emma Swanson, who is 9 years old and also from Stonehaven gained third place and a bronze medal in the girls category.

Both kids train at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre and compete for the Aberdeen Snowsports Club.
