For while he spent the winter at HMT in the record-breaking Sleeping Beauty, this time he is principle male dancer with Essence of Ireland, a dance show at the Music Hall on Sunday, September 25.
The Dumbarton-born dancer began training at the age of 10 and graduated from Bird College in 2008 before working for Carnival Cruise Lines and as part of the original cast of Strictly Tap Dance Fever’s UK tour.
But some of his happiest memories are of last Christmas as one of the eight-strong dance ensemble in Sleeping Beauty at His Majesty’s Theatre.
“After doing panto in Aberdeen I’m really excited to be going back,” said Ross.
“It’s a great city and the Music Hall is a new venue for me so I’m really looking forward to performing the Essence of Ireland where I have so many friends.
“In doing panto I worked with some very talented and delightful kids from the Aberdeen Academy of Dance, and it was a pleasure.”
Essence of Ireland is better than ever, with their biggest and most talented cast of dancers, singers, and musicians. It combines breathtaking dance routines with the very best of Irish music, and a touch of Irish craic.
