The closing date for entries for the annual Arbuthnott Art and Craft Exhibition held at the Grassic Gibbon Centre, is Monday June 1.

This is the 15th year of the exhibition, which began originally as part of the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of the much loved Scottish author, Lewis Grassic Gibbon.

The exhibition originally illustrated the variety of work that the writings of Lewis Grassic Gibbon has inspired or influenced.

This specific theme has now changed and the organisers are now very happy to accept entries outwith this specification.

Artists are invited to submit work in any medium including poetry, prose, photography, watercolours, acrylics, oil, gouache, collage, patchwork, jewellery and woodturning.

As well as a platform for exhibiting their work, artists also have the opportunity for their work to be sold.

The exhibition will run from June 29 until July 26 at the Grassic Gibbon Centre. During normal opening times: 10am – 4.30pm, seven days per week. Entry to the Art Exhibition is free.
