Bervie pub raises over £400

The Queens Arms Public House in Inverbervie donated the contents of their charity bottle to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Customers were asked to guess the amount in the bottle and the person who was closest chose the recipients of the money.

Mrs Hazel Irvine was closest to the amount of £429.20 and chose Macmillan Cancer Support.

Catriona Bennett, from the Queens Arms, said: “Thank you to our customers for their generosity.

‘‘Their donations will contribute to the care of others suffering from cancer in the local area.”
