Party in the Park is over for another year with massive 210kg of food donated by party goers that will be split between three organisations.
Aberdeen Cyrenians, Instant Neighbour and South Aberdeenshire Food Bank will all benefit from donations which were part of the entry fee. Families and music lovers all descended on Mineralwell Park on Sunday with plenty on offer at the festival.
With unlimited bouncy castle included in the entry fee children from Kincardine and Mearns made full use of the facilities.
The 11th Party in the Park was raising funds for Aberdeen Cyrenians after funding cuts left vital services at risk.
Caroll Evan’s who helped with the food donations posted on the Facebook event page the massive amount of food collected.
She said: “210kg of Food Bank Donations was collected and split 3 ways with Cyrenians, Instant Neighbour and South Aberdeenshire Food Bank.
