Aberdeen’s first and favourite tribute act The Bloody Marys return to the Lemon Tree with a new annual show, The Bloody Marys Summer Camp.

Following their sell out show at Christmas time, the transvestite trio have decided to celebrate the changing of the season with their new ‘outing’ in The Bloody Marys Summer Camp.

The band are inviting fans to come and join them round the campfire as the boys get their ‘ging gang goolies’ out. As well as new numbers the Marys will of course pay tribute to the classics from Abba, the Rocky Horror Show to their legendary Take That routines (dance moves included!).

Singer Ian Gray said “We hope that people enjoy our summer show, as along with our Christmas Show will be the only two public gigs we are playing in Aberdeen this year. So it will be special.

We promise all the old nonsense, and some new tunes as well. Judging by tickets sales, it looks like we are in for a good night.”

The band, who consist of Ian Gray on vocals, guitarist Barry Dodds and Steve Morrison on keyboards, have been wowing crowds since their reformation in 2011.

The first time around in the nineties the Bloody Marys sold out the Capitol Theatre three times and also the Music Hall for their farewell gig.
