Next Monday’s episode of Elaine C. Smith’s Burdz Eye View will feature her in Stonehaven taking a dip in the famous outdoor pool.
The fourth episode in the series will also see the actress and comedienne performing on stage in Arbroath, Stonehaven and Montrose.
She’ll be visiting a miniature railway in Arbroath, the statue of ‘Bamse’ the St Bernard dog in Montrose and a chat with local hair salon owner, Danny Laverty.
The six-part series has been airing on STV, on Monday evenings at 8pm, since the end of March.
It features the popular actress - visiting many of Scotland’s once much sought-after holiday destinations by the sea.
In her own inimitable style, Elaine provides her audience with an engaging and colourful narrative as she goes out and about to meet the people of Scotland.
From Stonehaven to St Andrews, and North Berwick to Port Patrick, she travels to places she has never toured before.
Elaine said: “Making Burdz Eye View was a great opportunity to perform my one woman show in magical places from my childhood and also in locations I have never had a chance to experience before.
“It was a real privilege to meet so many amazing people, especially the women who work and live in these iconic towns.
‘‘It offered me a fresh perspective on how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful and diverse country.
“I hope the audiences enjoy going on holiday with me.”
Elaine C. Smith’s Burdz Eye View is a funny and nostalgic series, made for STV by RPM Arts and Solus Productions.
